Shift Manager
Crumbl CookiesWhat the job actually is
For a good chunk of the day, this store is yours. You're leading a team through the game plan: what gets mixed, what gets frosted, what gets prepped for tomorrow. You're calling the shots when it gets busy. You're the reason a customer gets a perfect cookie at 8pm on a Saturday instead of whatever's left.
Day to day, that looks like:
Leading a crew of 3–6 through a shift and keeping everyone clear on what they're doing
Executing the daily bake and frost plan, adjusting when the day doesn't cooperate
Holding the line on cookie quality — sizing, frosting, presentation
Taking care of customers, and coaching your team to do the same
Watching waste and labor, because good numbers mean more room for the fun stuff
Keeping the store clean and set up so the next shift walks into a good situation
Telling us what's going on — what broke, what's working, who's crushing it
Who we're looking for
Someone who notices things. Who'd rather fix a problem than mention it later. Who can be warm with a customer and direct with a teammate in the same five minutes.
You don't need Crumbl experience. You don't need a management title on your résumé. If you've been the person your manager relies on — at a restaurant, a coffee shop, a retail store, anywhere — you can do this. What we can't teach is caring whether it's done right.
Comfortable leading people, including people who've been there longer than you
Steady when it's slammed
Reliable — your crew is counting on you being there
Weekend and evening availability (that's when we're busiest, and it's genuinely the most fun)
Able to be on your feet for a full shift and lift up to 50 lbs
What you get from us
We're not going to pretend cookies are a calling. But here's what's real:
Actual backing. If you make a call, it stands. You're not going to be second-guessed in front of your crew.
Systems that work. We're building checklists, game plans, and clear communication so you're not guessing or firefighting every shift.
A real path. We have two stores and we're growing. We'd rather promote from inside than hire from outside.
Free cookies. Obviously.
A crew worth working with. We take culture seriously — competitions, birthdays, recognition, the whole thing.
