Zax Creamery in Montgomery, IN is looking for baristas to join our team. We are located on 120 Main St. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and reliable!
Job Title: Barista
Location: Zax Creamery, 120 Main St Montgomery, IN 47558
Job Type: Part-Time
Flexible Schedule:
- Availability: Prefer availability for at least 2-4 days per week
- Optional Days: Monday through Saturday
- Operating Hours: 6:00 AM - 9:00 PM Monday through Thursday and 6:00 AM -10:00 PM Friday and Saturday
Barista Duties:
- Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, tea, and other beverages in accordance with customer orders.
- Prepare scoops of ice cream and milkshakes.
- Prepare breakfast sandwiches
- Maintain the quality of coffee by grinding beans daily and cleaning equipment regularly.
- Provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
- Follow health and safety guidelines.
• Handle cash and credit transactions, including operating POS systems.
Qualifications:
- Previous barista experience is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- High integrity with a great attendance record.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
