Part-time Barista

The Hilton Austin Airport is looking for a Part-time Barista to provide exceptional service in our busy hotel coffee shop. The Hilton has been recently renovated and is located in the historic Air Force command building right on Austin-Bergstrom International Airport property. We’re proud to be Austin’s gateway full-service hotel.

Position Overview

We’re seeking a friendly and energetic Coffee Shop Attendant to join our team. Whether you're a seasoned barista or just starting out, this role offers a dynamic environment where customer service meets fast-paced fun.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take beverage and food orders.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks including coffee, tea, and smoothies.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions with accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop area.
• Follow health and safety guidelines for food and beverage handling.
• Assist in preparing light food items such as sandwiches and pastries.
• Provide outstanding customer service and resolve inquiries with professionalism.

• Previous experience in cashiering or food service preferred, but not required
• Basic math skills for handling cash and calculating orders
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of food safety and handling techniques is a plus
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Food Handlers Certification required

What You'll Receive:

• This position will pay $16.00 per hour to start, with scheduled annual increases.
